Independent information and enquiry-referral website — not a pest-control contractor or emergency service.
Review method

How we review bed bug guidance

Our repeatable review checks cover source quality, safety boundaries, direct answers, internal consistency, accessibility and commercial disclosure.

Six checks before publication

  1. Intent: the page must solve a distinct user problem rather than repeat another URL.
  2. Evidence: material factual claims link to a source that supports them.
  3. Safety: medical and biocide advice stays within NHS and HSE boundaries.
  4. Clarity: the quick answer must be understandable without promotional language.
  5. Consistency: costs, treatment descriptions and service status cannot conflict across pages.
  6. Technical quality: headings, metadata, structured data, images, internal links and mobile behaviour are tested during the build.

Current review status

The launch corpus has editorial review but not a separately named professional pest-controller review. Pages display this limitation. When a real reviewer is engaged, their identity, experience and scope of review will be published rather than implied.
